Course:
The course is .8 mile circuit with three 90-degree turns and one sweeping turn. Roads are clean, wide,and fast.
 
Directions:
From 75 and 635, take 75 north to Renner Rd. East on Renner Rd just past the George BushFreeway. Course is on the left at the NW corner of Renner Rd and Shiloh Rd.
 
Rules:
  • Cash only this year, no checks.
  • All USCF rules apply. Permit applied for.
  • Teams wheels in/out.
  • You MUST wear an ANSI approved helmet at
    all times while on the bike.
  • NO warm-ups on the course while races are in progress.
  • We race rain or shine.
  • Fieldminimum = 15
  • Racelengths and start times are approximate and may vary according to the amount of daylight available.
  • Masters 35+ placing in the top 8 six times in the season are ineligible to enter the B race.
  • **A racers are allowed to "warm up" in the B race for an extra $5. A racers WILL NOT be allowed to affect the race, and MUST pull out of the race at 3 laps to go.



Wheels in Motion Crit Series Overall Point Breakdown
 
Points awarded to the top 8 finishers in each race (12, 9, 7, 5, 4…1).
*Overall purse size: A-Race ONLY. $1 of each rider’s entry fee in the A-Race will be added to the overall purse each week. For example, if avg. field size is 50, then the overall purse paid every 6 weeks would be $300. Added to that will be the $5 extra charge for each racer who does the "warm up" ride in the B race. Overall series prize will be based on cumulative points for the top 8 riders at the end of each quarter of the series.
 
Registration:
Race day registration opens at 5:00pm and closes 10 minutes before each race.
